Welcome to Restore Wound Healing, a full-service wound care center owned and operated by experienced wound specialist Lince Varughese, MD. We serve individuals and families in Rockwall, Texas, as well as surrounding areas. We accept most health insurance and welcome new patients.

Dr. Varughese is double board certified in Family Medicine and Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. He completed his hyperbaric fellowship at Louisiana State University’s Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He is also a Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP) through the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM). He has been practicing in the DFW metroplex for the past 6+ years.

Our practice is home to a friendly and compassionate team. Dr. Varughese and his team have years of knowledge and expertise. 

We diagnose and treat various skin issues, including venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, trauma wounds, hidradenitis suppurativa, and pyoderma gangrenosa. We also provide specialty treatments, including post-surgical and post-abscess wound care.

Our treatment philosophy emphasizes minimally invasive and integrative measures. Instead of automatically resorting to surgery, we provide cutting-edge wound treatments, including Vaporox therapy to accelerate wound closure; Vashe® wound cleanser to inhibit germs and bacteria,  prevent infection, and keep wounds clean; and Theraworx® topical skin care products.

We offer same- and next-day appointments to accommodate busy schedules and emergencies. Patients can also access durable medical equipment (DME), such as pressure mattresses to manage bedsores, wound vacuums for controlled suction therapy, gauze, and bandages.  We work well with home health agencies as well.
